We Help People When They Need It Most
OUR CLIENTS MEAN EVERYTHING TO US.
“Lost, confused, desperate and bewildered. These are some of the feelings we had when we realized our mother was going to need care; more than we could handle or provide. Where do we go? Who do we call? Where do we start? What are our options? We asked these questions consistently for months. We did some research and found Longevity Income Solutions! This was the first step to easing our worries and concerns. We made an introductory call to Jon and Michael. We discussed mom’s overall situation, her health issues and financials. From that first call and through the entire process of figuring out our mother’s future, Jon and Michael were by our side. They were there for us in every way possible. Phone calls, emails, zoom calls, etc. They were there for us! (and our mother).
Jon and Michael showed empathy and knowledge during this difficult time for us. Ensuring us that they would do what was best for our mother was calming. They put our minds at ease. The confidence they have toward reaching the end goal was reinforced during each and every communication we have with them. Professional, knowledgeable and confident! They worked separately and together to make sure we understood every aspect of our journey. The communication was tremendous. They answered every question we had promptly and efficiently.

To say we would recommend Longevity Income Solutions is an understatement. If you have questions or concerns, these are the guys to call. We all have different situations, I am beyond confident that John and Michael have the knowledge to do what is best for you and your family.
Thank you Jon and Michael. We appreciate your help and support! We could not have done this without you.

“I would like to thank you for your support in helping me navigate through all my options and reaching a holistic financial solution for my sister who is afflicted with Alzheimer’s disease and other adverse health conditions. So many people distrust “financial planners” and lump them into a “salesman” category and in the past, I have been one of those people. Also, I work in the financial services industry and initially had a kind of an attitude that I could or should be able to get through everything I needed to do “alone.” After all, I am an intelligent person. Purely by a stroke of luck, I attended one of your seminars at the facility where my sister was in rehab and I reluctantly agreed to meet with you for a short period of time. Well, I came to realize who you really were and what you could do to help me.
You met me to hear what I felt her needs were and what my goals and priorities were so I could get to a place where I could relax and feel confident that all my sister’s needs would be met. I started feeling confident that I could attain a financial well-being on her behalf.
I cannot truly express my appreciation. Using your years of experience in the senior health care industry combined your knowledge and expertise in creating an appropriate financial strategy covering all the immense possibilities of what my sister will need at all levels of care, you clearly took your time with me and explained all the pros and cons of every sophisticated option.
“You provided a level of service that is so rare among all service industries and it is obvious you truly care about those you help. ”
Additionally, you went above and beyond and helped me in finalizing the best care facility to meet her extensive needs. You both definitely understood the challenges I was faced with in both determining her care needs and then funding those care needs accordingly.
Further, you made yourselves available around my work schedule when I needed support in dealing with many other intertwined services related to long term healthcare, residency, home sale, realtors, moving company, antique sales, insurance, and taxes. You have the “inside track” so to speak so you were already familiar with and also in the ‘same circles’ where I was investigating. You absolutely helped me to feel that I became successful in handling the financial and emotional security needed for my sister’s care. You provided a level of service that is so rare among all service industries and it is obvious you truly care about those you help.
I unconditionally and highly recommend Longevity Income Solutions. Thank you for everything!”

“It was a difficult decision to move to a senior living community. Jon & Michael were life savers. They took the scary, overwhelming unknown & organized, planned and provided us a roadmap for our senior living journey. Not only did they provide solutions to pay for this significant expense, but they were compassionate in helping get legal and medical documentation in-place for our family.”

“I was a wreck. My husband was dying in a nursing home with Lewy Body Dementia. My stress level was acute; visiting my husband every day while I worried and worried about how I’d handle my life when he was gone. I had just exhausted our savings, paying out of pocket for 8 months of assisted living, and now Medicaid was taking over the last months of my husband’s life.
What would I do? How would I go on? Would I have to sell my beloved home of over 45 years? And my car… what its lease was costing was it too much for me to handle? Too many questions and not having my husband to confer with – a man who always took care of me and found a way to solve every problem – was no longer able to help me at all.
Then I received a flyer from the assisted living facility telling me there would be a seminar for people who were going through exactly what I was going through. It dealt with financial problems spouses and children were experiencing while their loved ones were being institutionalized. The subject matter couldn’t have been more of a perfect fit for me.
I got to the seminar late, my desperation was palpable. At one point I burst into tears and thought I was beyond help. But here were two gentlemen having a fascinating conversation with a small gathering of equally desperate spouses and children of the facility residents. We were all in the ‘same boat’ and were looking to these two men who were making me feel more comfortable with each passing minute….making us feel that they were there to help….in many ways…..that our problems were solvable…..and that they’d be there for us and help take some of the burden off of us.
“The day I walked into that seminar and met with Michael and Jon, I was blessed. They’ve lifted the terrible burdens from my shoulders and have taken my hand and led me to a positive way of life; financially and emotionally, and I am so grateful to them and for them.”
Michael Mastroieni and Jon Miller… strangers to me that day, would grow to become good friends and the problem solvers my husband used to be. We had meetings, not just with me, but they wanted my adult children to be a part of the whole plan for me and regularly sought their feedback. They’ve helped me immensely and I don’t know what I’d have done without them.

They’ve lifted the terrible burdens from my shoulders and have taken my hand and led me to a positive way of life; financially and emotionally, and I am so grateful to them and for them. I walked out of that seminar with hope, that maybe now my future wouldn’t be as bleak as I’d imagined when I first walked into that room.”

“We were very pleased with the help Longevity Income Solutions gave us in sorting out our options as we age. Now both in our eighties, though not failing yet having limited local family resources, we had to consider the options available to meet our needs. These include living arrangements, our independence, possible emergencies, medical facilities, financial, rehab, transportation, and leisure activities. In addressing all, Jon and Mike provided useful knowledge-based guidance. Most of all they listened as we described our goals, then responded with valuable suggestions. They are truly interested in our welfare and we consider them part of our ‘care team’.”

“Longevity Income Solutions has been an amazing godsend! I had no idea how to proceed with a plan for my elderly Aunt’s next stage of life once it became evident that she could no longer stay in her childhood home. With me as Power of Attorney living in Los Angeles and my Aunt in the Philadelphia area, it could have been an expensive, emotionally draining, and all consuming nightmare. When I became short tempered, dropped the ball or was overwhelmed, you were always available to gently help me through it and get things moving again. Because of your support over the past 9 months, the process has been much easier with results much better than I had imagined would be possible.
“When I became short tempered, dropped the ball or was overwhelmed, you were always available to gently help me through it and get things moving again.”
Thank you again for handling everything with patience, compassion, and integrity – from helping my Aunt deal with the emotions related to this huge life transition to devising a financial plan and finding the right community for her new forever home as well as maximizing returns from selling her house. Your broad breadth of knowledge related to elder care and financial/life planning as well as professional relationships is extraordinary.
I of course, wholeheartedly recommend your services to anyone experiencing a care crisis and am happy to speak with any prospective families if they have questions.”

“Jonathan and Michael were the light that guided my family through a rough sea. They were always professional and understanding of our situation. They were a vault of information and guided us through the home-care/long-term care and financial side of providing care for our mom without her losing her home. I wish we met them earlier. They assisted with POA/home care, medical POA and financially paying for long-term care. They are not only knowledgeable but also so understanding of the situation of dealing with a parent who requires more assistance at home. I can not recommend this company enough. They really helped us navigate a world my family had no idea where to start. They made it simple and always asked us if we understood everything, they made us feel at ease to ask any or all the questions we wanted. Whenever we met it was whatever time was convenient for our family. If you have a family member who is aging and you are lost in the long-term care world, then contact Longevity.”

If you are reading this, I am sorry for all you have gone through. I was in a similar situation in 2018 and 2019. One of the few bright lights I encountered during this difficult time was the advice and services I received from Jonathan and Michael of Longevity Income Solutions. I had been taking care of my aunt and uncle for several years when they became ill. They lived in a retirement community with an attached rehabilitation center. They were both elderly, had medical issues and could no longer stay in their home. The doctors recommended a community/structured environment, but it was expensive. However, the real expenses began when both needed 24-hour live-in caregivers. My uncle passed away in 2018. My aunt remained in her apartment with severe stage of Alzheimers, was on hospice for a couple of years, and required 24-hour care. She was 90 years old, ill, and unable to care for herself at the time her husband passed away.
I learned of Jonathan Miller of Longevity Income Solutions in approximately June or July of 2018 when he and Michael visited the retirement community in which my aunt lived. I was running out of my aunt’s and uncle’s money quickly due primarily to the expenses of the apartment rent and caregivers, neither of which I regret. I had the best caregivers that I can imagine and am grateful to them to this day.
Jonathan Miller offered potential solutions that I was not aware were available. I think that his company, Longevity, is the only company in the country that offers creative solutions for elderly and ill people, that can really help. The other remarkable thing about Jonathan and Michael is that they really care. They would not, and did not, offer a product that was not beneficial to my aunt. They are not there to just sell their product. I felt then, and feel now, that they will only sell a product if it is beneficial to the client.
In my case, I filled out the application with their representative in Chicago, provided a copy of my aunt’s will/revocable trust, and any financials they needed. The goal was to pay a lump sum to Longevity,
“Longevity, is the only company in the country that offers creative solutions for elderly and ill people, that can really help. The other remarkable thing about Jonathan and Michael is that they really care. They would not, and did not, offer a product that was not beneficial to my aunt. They are not there to just sell their product.”
and it would provide my aunt with a regular stream of income for the rest of her life. What they are really selling, in my opinion, is piece of mind. However, they recognize that if your loved one is likely to die shortly after the benefits start paying, their product might not be right for you. In my case, Jonathan and Michael considered my aunt’s assets, her disease, her age, statistics on her life span, among other things, and decided that their product was not right for my aunt. They did not think their product was economically feasible for her, and they put her interests above their own interests. Had I known of them and of Longevity earlier in the disease process, I believe their product would have been right for my aunt, and would have significantly stretched the funds available for her care.
It turned out that Jonathan and Michael were correct. My aunt passed away in February, 2019, just as I was bracing to apply for Medicaid. They clearly placed her interests above their own. I believe in their product, and I believe in them.
My suggestion is that if your loved one is aged and ill, and even if you think your loved one has sufficient funds (it goes really fast with caregivers), start looking at the beginning of the illness for economic solutions. I believe Longevity Income Solutions is a good solution, and probably the only one of its kind in this country. I wish I had known of them earlier. I hope that this letter helps someone in need to make a good decision.
As to Jonathan Miller, he still contacts me every few months to see how my sister and I are doing, even though our aunt passed away over a year ago. I do think Jonathan and Michael are good people, and that you can trust them to advise you as to what is best for your loved one. They did for me.”

“I was referred to Michael and Jon by Brightview shortly after my dad passed when I began to worry about how to properly plan for my mother’s future care, given her financial resources had changed drastically without my dad here. Their website says the focus of LIS is ‘providing care solutions for those currently requiring services through all levels of care including home health care, assisted living, intermediate and custodial nursing facilities.’ But in reality, they are angels in disguise… and I couldn’t be more serious!
To say they lifted a huge burden and made all the unknowns less scary is an understatement. They are a vital resource (helping me plan not only for my mom but also my own future) and each is a tremendously important, valued member of my support system.“
